Because this blog is about truth telling, I thought I would start out with a lie.  I once told someone I downloaded Netbeans and wrote my first code in Java, "hello world".  It was a lie.  The truth is that I just read a book about how to do that and pretended in my head.  The computer was just too far away. That's the first truth on this blog.  No lies here.  Just the truth as I see it--through rose-colored-goggles.
